    Hi All

Just wondering if anyone on D.A. has secured permission to do part time work. The website states if it is" considered rehabilitative or therapeutic."

Your gp will be the person who must certify that the work is rehabilitative or therapeutic.

Community Employment Schemes are usually accepted as being rehalibitive, if you get a place on one.

if it's insureable employment all you need it a letter from your gp certifying the work is rehabilitative in nature.. if it's self employment it has to be approved by the social welfare doctor. . if the work is certified as rehabilitative you can earn up to €120 per week before your DA is affected... anything earned between 120 & 350 is assessed at 50% and 100% on anything earned over 350.. it doesn't matter how many hours you work I think that's only for benefit payments
