Anyone got reccomendations for a grief/bereavement counsellor?

Cost is not an issue, but they seem thin on the ground.

Any help appreciated, is for a family member who has taken a death very hard.

thank you very much in advance :)

    Thank you.

They seem very focussed on suicide I'm looking for a grief/bereavement counsellor following the death of a parent

    That's for children

I apprecriate you are trying to help but this is for an adult who is profoundly upset at the loss of a parent.

They are willing to pay and so far your suggestions are nonsensical.

You will get plenty of numbers in the Yellow pages, also ask at your local hospital, they should be able to help you.

Hi Stheno - your friend could also try the Bethany Bereavement Support Group . They are a parish-based group & have contacts in most towns. Check out http://www.bethany.ie/ & see the Local Contacts tab.
