Took down the tree today and felt sad because I remember the day putting it up and was excited oh and I blew through too much money too, but sure every year is the same. Has anyone gone to Spain, Lanzarote etc for xmas day ? Might drag the 4 of us away next year just to see....Maybe from 22 till 29th or maybe the whole hog and come home on the 2nd jan. What you lot think ?

No. I love Christmas time as all my family come home from different countries all over the world and we're flat out catching up -with many, many drinks involved! :p

I actually hate that it's over now as everything is kind of back to reality and everybody is despuring for another year.

The midwinter break is over. Kids are back in school tomorrow. Decorations are back in the attic. Cake and bikkies are gone. Drink is gone.

    I'm glad. :)

Decorations are down today. The house looks empty. :/
I'm also severely in the red with regards to my current financial situation, I've gone up a jeans size and I'm most likely due to get alcohol poisoning if I so much as look at a bottle of Morgan's.
It was a grand occasion but I'm glad it's over as it was also stressful pretending to be civil to reletives I hate.

I'm glad it's over so I don't have to listen to any more people complaining about the use of the term 'xmas'.

Start using ☧mas just to piss them off (☧ stands for them same thing the X does, i.e. Christ, so I don't know how it makes anyone a heathen.)

The mother always goes a bit gaga in the weeks before Christmas and fills the cupboards with box upon box of Cadburys' Roses, Quality Street, Taytos, Tinned biscuits, After Eights and the likes. Anyone would swear there was going to be a famine. We always end up eating the stuff until Easter. And she will do the exact same next Christmas.

My Mam is the same. She has a larder in the house about the size of a small bathroom full to the gills with all sorts of goodies and drink. We called it "santas grotto" when we were kids and the name has stuck. You just have to enjoy every Xmas you have with your parents coz you never know how many more you will have with them:)

Yeah I like christmas and all but im glad its over. I find with all the time off work and the drinking and general gluttony days become muddled and its all a bit disorientating. Back to normal now.

Just me and and my mannequin parties.:)

As someone who despises religion, delighted all that crap is over.

Put the bandwagon supporters of the cihild rapists and other retarded religions back in their place.

Yes I'm glad it's over - nice time for the kids and all but enough is enough now at this stage.

Back to school and some kind of routine tomorrow - just couldn't get into Christmas at all this year :(
