    Hi,

Looking for a groupset to build up a trainer bike.

10 speed. Good condition. Thinking 105 or apex. But open to ideas.

Budget around €300. Anything above that I'd just go for a new one.

    Thanks for looking.

Yeah, you've only 6 bikes listed on Strava, you obviously need another:pac:.

Anyway, I presume you're looking for the full shebang, i.e. shifters, mechs, cranks, BB, cassette, chain, brakes, cables? Double. compact, triple? BSA or Ita BB?

I might be able to sort you out with 105 5600 but I don't have brakes. Also might have Ultegra shifting kit but that'd cost more.

Is it for a winter trainer? Have you a frame?

    HiPaul,
I am very interested. Will pm you.
    Thanks.

With regard to the number of bikes I will refer to rule number 12.

"Rule #12 / The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner."

I'd also be interested in your Ultegra shifters - please let me know what they are and how much you are looking for them.

Unfortunately that equation cannot be solved for values of n > s-1:( which is why I'm stuck at n.

The Ultegra is 6700 2x10. I don't know when (or even if) it'll be available as it depends on me finding a very good deal on Ultegra di2 somewhere!

I have a practically new Ultegra Chainset that might be of interest. 6750 50/34 and I'm pretty sure its 172.5mm arms. Took it off a brand new bike and replaced with a standard so its spotless. But it sounds like you're looking for cheaper used parts?

How much are you looking for it? Is it silver? Where are you based?

Sorry, its the Grey version. Based in Dublin (unfortunately :D), and I'd probably look for 170, but I'd be bargained down to 150 ;)
