I'm moving into a new house next week and I'd like to clean the kettle out before I use it. Any tips?

Use a Steredent false teeth cleaning tablet.

Boil it up with some vinegar in it. Totally cleans it in one go. Just boil it up again afterwards and discard that water before using it for tea or whatever.

As said above, use vinegar or citric acid (available in most chemists)
