I took mine down yesterday, which is late for me. Normally I'd have it down by the 3rd. We're seeing Christmas stuff up in shops from October, it goes on far too long. I look forward to a fresh start, so the earlier the better the tree and the lot comes down.

I get depressed looking at decorations still up after New Years- it's lovely just before and at Xmas, but it's time for them to come down now.

Yesterday I put ours carefully back its M&S box and taped it up as I didn't want to damage a 250 euro tree.

I was going to take it down this weekend, but the OH isn't back in work until tomorrow so thought it might be a bit depressing for him :P I'd want to have it down this time next week at the latest.
