What's the general price of a mudguard for the back wheel on a bike? As well as lights/reflectors for the front and back?

Also if anyone is from Galway and knows where I can get them please let me know!

There have been many discussions on lights over these past few months - a search should keep you reading for some time

Mudguards - some very good references in here too

Why only a rear mudguard? If had to choose between a front and rear I'd choose the front one....but most come in a set anyway.

Does your bike have eyelets for mudguards?

Re Galway. Any of the Bike shops will sort you out.
Nigels, Kearneys, Westside Cycles, and Halfords are 4 off the top of my head.
There's another beside the Oil Company service station on Headford rd.
    Another opposite TK max.

Because I have a load of dirt on my back after a cycle from the back wheel, the front doesn't seem to do any harm :P But sure if they come as a set that's fine! Uhm I'm not actually sure.. total newb to cycling I should have added :o Would the shop put them on for me or would I have to? Also will a front and back light reflector do or should I also get ones for spokes..?

A front mudguard will stop your shoes from filling with water, your water bottle from getting covered in road dirt and save your gear cables.

If it's a road bike with no eyelets, get sks raceblades or crud roadracers, shop should fit them for you.
