A friends laptop's fan has completely stopped and they're terrified to turn it on any more, so I'm the messenger.

Is there anywhere in town that could fix a Satellite Pro fan? That or is there any way to fix it DIY?
Being a student, she's not exactly loaded so a new laptop is out of the question. Could a place repair it for less than €100?

I don't know any more specific than that, but I can get details off her c:

Neither of us are exactly technologically gifted, I won't lie! Would it be difficult?

Pretty straight forward job you can get the fan from ebay or http://www.laptopparts.ie/ type in the model number of the Laptop in the search e.g. Satelite-C660 and see if they are in stock.

You will get disassembly instructions online its not a difficult task at all.
