    Hi,

I've booked my NCT multiple times (2 or 3 maybe), and then didnt turn up.
Will they charge me for each of the missed tests?

What if I sell the car? Will they charge them?

    9. How much does the test cost and what are the payment methods?

The NCT fee for a full test is 55.00 Euro and a re-test costs 28.00 Euro (both fees are inclusive of VAT and maybe subject to change). Re-tests, which do not require the use of test equipment, will be free. Free re-tests cover minor items, for example, a visual inspection to check that faulty windscreen wipers have been replaced.

If you cancel a confirmed appointment with less than five working days notice (Mon. - Fri., not including the day of the test or the day you contact NCTS) or fail to show up for the test, a €22.00 surcharge will be applied when you next bring your car for testing. A similar surcharge of €11.50 will apply in the case of a re-test.

I'd assume you'll get charged for every test you've failed to turn up for.

Oh lawd, looks like im gonna have to either burn out my car.
Or sell it to my friend for free & get him to test it.

Thats amazing, I could build a huge debt over my car.
Make it have a negative worth due to pending NCT surcharges.
I wonder is there a limit? I reckon I can book one every 2 weeks and make the car worth -1430 by the end of the year.

Then sell the car to some chump. What a beautiful system

I went for one, they said I had "worn bushings"
Got them replaced, then when the NCT came due I didnt have the money.

Went to the next one & they mentioned the surcharge & I walked out of there cos I didnt have the cash or money on my laser.

They also asked me to replace the sky hooks & skirting ladders.
    punks
