Hey guys, i've seen photos in a few magazines of a really smouldering black eye make up that i'd love to learn to copy, the kind that grabs your attention a room away! Will look around for a few photos and post if i find any on net, does anyone have any good black eye make up tutorials?

Check out some of Pixiwoo, Pixi2woo or an Irish youtuber Little Kiva. Or just type in to Youtube, dark smokey eye or whatever and something should come up :)

    Help please?
I'm fairly new to applying eyeshadow (I've been doing foundation, eyeliner and mascara etc, but never really got into eyeshadow until recently)
Stupid question, but when you've applied an eyeshadow and you have to blend it, do you use another clean brush to blend it into the socket or do you carry on using the same brush you just used to apply the shadow?
I'm not sure what I'm doing!

You could do either but if you're using the same brush to blend and apply, wipe it off really well before blending so that youre not placing more colour where u don't want it. Also a fluffy brush is best for blending so if you're applying with a flat brush you might want a separate fluffy one to blend.

Op check out one of the most recent vid from Makeupbytiffanyd. I think it was a new years look using black shadow.

Have you tried urban decay perversion eyeliner? Very inky black.

I do this also, it causes a lot less mistakes I find. Youtube is so helpful for figuring out how to do things. If you see celebrity with the look you'll find someone who's done it on YouTube I'm sure!

Thanks so much! It seemed like a silly question but I was wondering where I was going wrong :D

This is my absolute favourite black smouldering eyeshadow look:

It's quite dramatic but it looks great IMO.
