Why do people think it's OK to have a conversation ion the Quiet Zones of the library?

Almost every time I'm there somebody studying will have a friend or 2 come up to them and a full conversation will take place usually lasting several minutes.

Anyone else find this most annoying?

Agreed!! I have little patience for it and ask them to be quiet, it aggregates the hell out of me lol.

I try throwing dirty looks but it rarely work.

I don't say anything as I've a bit of a temper so I try to avoid confrontation.

Im the same, but its either giving the looks and nothing happening or losing it for a bit and then calming down to try to study lol.
