A friend in Belgium, of all places, asked me to confirm this translation for a tattoo! This is the usual Google translation. Can someone please give me a correct version as this is going on someones arm forever!

MY FREEDOM AND THOUGHTS NOBODY CAN CONTROL.

MO SAOIRSE AGUS SMAOINTE NI FEIDIR DUINE A RIALU

    Many thanks guys.

Google Translate is a heap of sh*t.

Níl smacht ag éinne ar mo shaoirse ná ar mo chuid smaointe

    Wait for confirmation.

    Thanks Gumbi :)

    That's a very good translation.
Maybe Google Translate is good with other languages but it's not reliable with Irish.

Nothing wrong with Gumbi's suggestion IMO - however I would respectfully suggest it could be slightly more concise and have a slightly better "rhythm" if re-arranged thus:

Níl mo shaoirse ná mo chuid smaointe faoi smacht ag éinne.

    Better again.
