Hey guys, i am adamant i get my own boots this year for a trip Morzine because the last few years using rental boots have been agony and really wanna pair fit properly.

I am just wondering would it be better buy boots at the resort. This might eat into time on the mountain but i can try them out.

    or

get them before i go (snow+rock or somewhere)

Key thing is where is likely to be the least overpriced :P ?

Most of the UK companies are taking a hit on the Exchange rate so equipment will be cheaper here than in resort. That and the captive market in a resort.

Snow and Rock have the Biggest selection, and Great Outdoors have some stuff to.
Spend a good two or three hours walking about the shop in them and make sure they are comfortable before you leave the shop and you should be ok. Pascal in S&R is really good but away until the 19th of Jan.

    Happy Shopping

Prices are always much better online if you're looking to save cash
