Ferguson Ariva 120 Problem

I have two Ferguson Ariva's, both have the exact same firmware loaded. One picks up the channels at a particular transponder (10964MHz 22000H), while the other does not. Any ideas what the problem could be? I'm completely out of ideas here.

I connected them both to the exact same cable to make sure there wasn't a problem with the cabling

If its similar to my 250 combo, in the list of satellites you should have a heart symbol beside both Astra 2 and Eurobird 1.

If you then go to TP List and select Eurobird 1 as opposed to Astra 2A at the top. Add the transponder, and scan for channels.

See if this makes a difference.

Its a peculiarity of the Ariva boxes.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion.. I've tried that but no luck unfortunately. I've upgraded the firmware on both boxes last night. One works fine and the other doesn't. It's very strange....

Copy the Channel List from the one that is working to the other.

To do this connect a USB Device to the one that has it working. Go and select Upgrade by USB, right click till you see Dumpfile. Click down to Start. When it finishes you will have a Dumpfile on your USB device.

Now disconnect the USb device and connect it to your Non Working Box, Choose upgrade by USB, and then right click across to UserDB. Click down to Start and let it flash the new channel list.

    That should sort it.

I'd recommend that you check the LNB frequency setting in the Antenna setup. It should be 9750-10600
    Hope that helps...

Tried that too but no luck. Some of the channels work but others just say no signal. Both boxes are set identical but one works and one doesn't. Is there any other software that may need updating bar the main firmware file? I can't figure out at all what could be wrong. Would it be possible that one box is outputting less voltage than the other and maybe that's affecting the list of transponders available?

    Another Ariva 120 query/problem/question:

What is the Network DDNS Setting in the tools menu used for, and does it work?
