Can somebody tell me what's the purpose of the red button on the back of the ignition/throttle column?
Because in the middle of loading this morning she refused to drive so without knowing why I was doing it, I pushed in the button and off she went again. None of the buttons on the stalks clutch her now so is it an override of some kind?

Yup, if the old girl stops moving, give that lad a jab..dunno the technical term, but it used to keep mine going a lot...if memory serves it overrides the clutch buttons too, so be careful...

Thanks that's what I was thinking.
Anyway got the work done and got out the screwdrivers and spanners when I got home. One of the relays was going mad clicking so narrowed it down to the relay or the clutch button and got one of each from the garage. Looks like the old button was faulty and was engaging itself. Job sorted now I hope.
