Ultimate clothing make our club kit. They also do the Sean kelly an post team kit as well. Great gear in all weathers and stands up to the washing machine very well.

I'd hate to pull this order away from an Irish company but I have a couple of pairs of endura bibs and I can't complain about there quality, very happy. Not a custom design, their off the shelf offering.

Our stuff is excellent and is done through velotec in Galway. THere's also Champion Sport Systems in the UK seem good (they do bombard you with emails though), DMC also based in Dublin do Santini (I think that's the right company, right man anyway).

Walking Tours of Kilkenny in English, French or German.

You should ring up the Irish companies and ask them for a sample of their ranges and pick what suits best. Recommend elite range from spin 11.

+1 on velotec. We got a full kit for a charity cycle last year. Excellent quality, easy to design. The bib shorts were way better than any other pair I had.

My personal preference would be for Santini via DMC sports. It's really top quality anf the fit is excellent.
Swords used them for a bit and every time there is kit for sale a good few root around for old bits and pieces in Santini.
We used Nalini now and its reasonably good too.

Our club uses an Italian brand called 'PISSEI' which you can get through an Irish company www.velocita.ie
Very stylish kit and the bibshorts are amazing.

For Race Around Ireland we use Carvalho Custom http://www.carvalhocustom.com/

They're great to work with and they'll be at the Irish Cycling Show in March if you want to talk to them face to face.

Whacked takes us 4-6 weeks to get our kit, not sure how long it will take you to design it but add that time on to be safe.

Sportif Waterford have changed our 2013 kit supplier to DMC sports. It's all Santini and prices are reasonable. We found David and Seamie great to deal with. We put in our order a week before Xmas and delivery is due on Feb 3rd. Santini even designed the kit in conjunction with ourselves for free.

I would recommend spin 11.They do different qualitys of kits racing kits and leisure/sportif.The racing shorts have excellent quality padding and the jerseys are a very tight fit. Also they are an irish company so bear this in mind when you are deceiding.

I was on the O2O from Dublin to Cork and Rocco did the kit. Have worn the shirt many, many times since, great quality. Great to see them doing so well

Edit: they're Irish owned too, from Cork area.

I wasn't overly impressed with any of the Malley gear.

I've seen some of the Rocco Sports gear a few months back in work in KK. There was some event on that they sponsored (or supplied) and they were all in the canteen when I was on my break. It was a Saturday so there was less than 15 employees in there.

It feels/looks pretty good quality gear.

    Woohoo I've just realised I've gone over 1,000 posts (It's only taking me 8 years :) )

I organise an annual ultra-marathon 280km 1-day charity cycle event from Dublin to Cork. Rocco Sportswear provided the official event jersey in 2012. The level of careful attention paid to the design by Rocco from the outset, particularly some value-added design improvement suggestions, is unique in my experience. The product itself is the best jersey I've come across for the price. The quality of the material, the fit, as well as the delivery time and value provided by Rocco were first class. All the participants commented very positively on the jersey and many wear it frequently on other cycles since the event. The jersey gets repeated use, and has great durability too.

Rocco has more recently done the gear for our Club, a large order of a range of items. Our members have reacted very positively to the product.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Rocco Sportswear as a high quality reliable source of sportswear for any club or event.
Contact Conor on conor@roccosportswear.com - he'll be happy to help you.

It's hard to see why quality would be an issue for any company nowadays. The top end guys like Rocco, Santini, Velo and Spin would rather lose a sale that put out an inferior product I'd imagine.

its not necessarily the quality i have quality kit that i just don't like ( and didn't like our club kit from last year but others did, but i wont recommend it)

I'm just curious, was the issue with a few club members picking options that you didn't like or was it the suppliers fault?

personally (it is my opinion) thought the shorts and gloves were very poor. didnt fit me . the jerseys were ok but basic for the price. the suppliers were very good , came down allowed you to try it on but like most things you only find out how good it really is when you ride in it.
