Thinking of buying this t.v. from pixmaina.ie. Have read good reviews from various other sites, pixmaina seem to have the best price at the moment. Just have a query in relation to it the statement... "This product requires a mains adapter for Ireland. Pixmania supplies an adapter when you buy this product." Where is the T.V. coming from or are they all like this...Can anyone advise?

Make sure that is Freeview+ and not just Freeview. What they mean is that it most likely has a Continental plug and you just need to change the plug. TMULL

Pixmania employs monkeys to pack their shipments. I once ordered two SD memory cards and they sent me two free continental to UK mains adapters!

The TV will be 220/240V once it's coming from Europe so you can either buy an adapter or cut off the two-pin plug and fit a three-pin UK plug.

It needs to be Freeview HD to work with Saorview. If you're cable or satellite, that won't be an issue.

Have you read the horror stories on other threads about Pixmania's customer 'service'?

Have you considered how you're going to return the TV for a warranty repair if anything goes wrong?
