have 15 lambs to bring to mart. i don't usually sell to mart that much so looking for advice...was going to make 3 groups..4 very light lambs (33-35kg) all wethers. the rest are all 39kg-42kg and was going to sell 7 ewes and 4 wethers separate. all lambs are well fleshed (even the light ones) and have been getting meal for good while..any opinions recommendations welcome..

would seem the right way to me if you have a demand for ewe lambs in your area, if no premium for ewes better to sell all together

Id sell all the heavy lambs together.First sales after christmas ,butchers would be keen for those.Could not imagine that there would be that many after ewe lambs this time of year

yeah i am not 100% sure myself, i thought someone might fancy them and give a couple of extra pounds for them as replacements, you never know...worth the chance i thought...in the other hand a pen of 11-12 lambs might be more atractive to buyers this time of year...hard to know..thanks anyways
