Soldiers - what's your unit fitness like?

I'm feeling vaguely guilty, as I don't think I did enough over Christmas, and now I'm wondering what the phys is like at other units? How is it arranged week-by-week? Is it done as a section/troop, or are you given 2 hours a day to do your own thing?

Ive done very little over christmas too. Ive always done more when ive been home but didnt this time. I think its easier to switch off at christmas compared to say in the summer.

At my unit we have pt twice a week, regimental sports once a week and CO's PT once a week.

Theres also the option of using the gym i your own time.

But i dont think my unit is particularly great when it comes to fitness. Im never been naturally fit and often struggled a bit in training but i found the PT a lot easier at my regiment which says a lot.
