You know the moment when the wedding music starts, the excitment and anticipation builds up to the moment when you turn to face your future spouse leading to an almighty anti climax...she/he doesn't live up to your expectations in their new outfit.....

Honestly, has this ever happened to you ? Would you still get married ?
It did to me once but I still went ahead with it*

of course to break up a short time later..

You could ask them to quickly alter their appearance before they reached the altar

well she lived up to and beyond, so did i in a seventies blackspoitation kinda way much to her surprise!

I couldn't go for a tux with such fun suits available

she was shocked but still said yes!

My best man was elvis ( in the latter years )

it was in the elvis church in vegas, we were outside getting out of the car when the elvis doing the ceremony arrived ( early years version) looked over at my best man and said " Daddy!")

    fun times.:D

Don't really know what you're talking about OP, if they disappoint you on your wedding day then they probably weren't all that good looking to begin with.

Maybe it was the other way about???

I was speechless when I turned round and seen my wife to be walking up the aisle towards me. She was simply stunning.

In fairness if your not sure what sex they are, how do you know if there going to live up to expectations on the wedding night?
    Reminds me of this:
A bride on her wedding night says to her husband 'I must confess
    darling, I was a hooker!'.

He says 'That's alright, dear. Your past is your past, but I must
admit that I find it quite erotic. Tell me about it'.

She replies 'Well, my name was Nigel, and I played for Wigan !'.

If you would even consider dumping a person just because how they might look on a certain wedding day - you sure as hell shouldn't be getting married to the other person in the first place - and frankly they could do better by the sounds of things!

I once saw a groom run down the aisle and punch the father of the bride screaming "Why did you bring a pig to my f**king wedding!!!". He then stripped completely naked and left a Cleveland Steamer on the mother of the bride's lap. He exited the church by pulling himself along on his bum like a dog with worms....

Seriously, OP, what were you expecting? Your partner would be bathed in a halo of light with woodland critters flitting around them? It's a wedding, not Extreme Makeover.

I make it a point to only marry people i've previously met, thus avoiding the disappointment you describe. It's worked well so far.
