bought a 12 insignia SE and love it. however have 2 small things that i want to ask owners before I take it in. (it was a demo)
    1) remote for boot doesn't work off key fob, button on boot works fine. both keys give same non result
    2) lumbar support. up, down, forward works fine, back button doesn't work at all. i have to use "north west" or "south west" to get it out of my back when i played with it. should the "back" button work also?

don't want to look a fool going to garage before I realise its something that should work under warranty.

Both keys work remotely on boot for me.

I don't have those support seats (have the SRi version), so can't comment on that.

Are you holding down the button for the boot for longer than 3 seconds? it doesnt pop straight off.... that might be a totally stupid answer

That's the usual issue with the remote boot release not working, has to be held for a little while rather than a quick press (so it's not done accidently in a pocket for example).

OP - not sure about the lumbar. Have an Elite downstairs so I'll check that if I get a chance this afternoon.

cheers lads, boot works alright, my ford worked with one click. Love how the boot opens fully when button is pressed.

    Lumbar is still puzzling me.

think i figured it out but appreciate someone to correct/verify me. Theres a motorised noise when pushing the various buttons except the bac button which has no noise but I think it does reset the seat, so maybe theres not supposed to be a motorised noise going back?

Getting good fuel economy, about 5.1-6.0L/100km depending on driving, hope to improve on this when get on the country roads after weekend.
