I own this car with a diesel engine, bought it new in 2011. It got European car of the year in 2010 due to the engine. Even though it's a 1.2, it still has great power. I find it spacious with plenty of room for passengers and luggage.
Thankfully, I haven't have any problems with it so far. My warranty is up in a couple of weeks so will get an independent mechanic to check it before then. I find it incredibly efficient, it would usually take me 55-60e to fill a tank and I got 1000km out of a full tank recently as I was doing a lot of motorway driving. Average km on a full tank would be 850-950km if was doing a lot of city driving. Love the car and would recommend it to anyone.
