Hi I was just wondering does anyone know if its possible to get a map of areas covered by each station or district in Dublin. There is a map on West midlands police website where you click on an area and it shows the area policed by each local police unit in the west midlands. http://www.west-midlands.police.uk/np/birminghameast/

Is there a similar map of Garda areas?

    Thanks

I think there is, but it escapes me at this hour. I won't have the recent changes.

Anywhere in particular that you are asking about?

Don't think there's anything comparable in the public domain. Closest I could find is

What audidiesel posted above is the best you'll get i think. A reason for it could be that again, management don't want criminals seeing where a station area stops and starts as they might be able to work out the "best" areas to target, ie: area most likely to have no Gardai nearby.

I suppose thats the reason, they don't want to give the criminals that sort of information.

It doesn't really matter anyway. I was just interested because I read news articles about crimes that happened in Dublin and they were in the same area but were being investigated by two different stations but I know a Garda who works a third nearby station and I've seen him on duty in the same area. It's obviously on the border of the three stations' areas, was just interested to know where one stations area starts and the onther ends.
