    Hey folks

Considering this over the more expensive Humax options. About €190 on places like eBay.de and .pl

Found one thread here on boards that suggested that it didn't have full EPG this explaining why it was much cheaper.

My research reading German reviews and product pages suggest that it does.

Wanting to know if anybody else had one and how well it works.

This particular set top box doesn't appear to be so freely available or advertised on places like eBay.ie/uk or satellite ie for example.

    Any feedback appreciated.

Amazon.de has it for €288.00, and setsklep.pl have it for €282.00. So €190.00 seems a good price. Its still a bit pricey for a FTA sat pvr.

It will have a decent EPG listing for many European channels on 19.2E, but the systems used on 28.2E for the UK channels are propriety, and can't be read by this STB.

There are various Technomates that can get the EPG, or Linux based boxes. Or a Freesat box, like the Humax, which will also retune when channels change frequency, but is less flexible in terms of Saorview or foreign satellite reception.

    Thanks for that rurs.

I knew that there was probably a good reason why it's not marketed in the UK/IRE.

Will likely get one of the Humax boxes then.
