    Hi guys,

I got a new Macbook Air and I've conflicting advice on the built in battery.

Is it better for the battery to keep it plugged in when possible as to reduce the no of battery cycles it goes through, or is it better to unplug even if I'm at home at my desk when the battery is at 100%?

Really wanna get my milage from it!

Don't leave it plugged in all the time. It will save cycles but it won't matter because the battery will die from lack of use.

Charge and discharge the battery once a month to calibrate it.

They're exceptional batteries if the Air is the same as the pro (I assume)

1400 cycles + over 4 years and still at about 80% capacity
