toyota levin questions

As the title sais I am going to look at a 00levin this week its 1300 euro but the clutch is slipping, any1 have any info on what other problems to look for and is the price cheap for some reason. it only has 130000 km on it.

The engines are generally good assuming its either a black top or silver top based 4age type engine.. I think the silver top is slighlty better reliabilty wise. I would be more worried about bottom end of engine so usual checks for knocking or any signs of big end failure. I had a few corollas with 4age engines and that was there weakness. Clutch is an easy enough fix but if it was me i'd also take sump of car to clean out and check oil pick up (assuming you end up buying).

i sell exedy clutch for them for 140e

if its 00 it will be blacktop engine 20v
bottom end and burning oil are main issues, otherwise good
gearbox on 6 speed models
superstrut is weak point and costs around 1k to fix new

otherwise a good car


where is it advertised

thanks for the info its advertised on donedeal in dublin, iv heard the superstrut can be expensive but this one has been converted to coilovers, does the price sound too good to be true, and where abouts can i get that exceedy clutch.

where is it advertised

its on donedeal in dublin, the superstrut has been taking out its just on coilovers now which suits me better cause it will mainly be driven on back roads, where abouts can i get one of them exedy clutch.
