Hi, we're heading to Kircherg at the end of the month for 4 days. Can anyone recommend a good ski hire shop? We're staying in the town centre and we'd like somewhere convenient with lockers.
I did some googling and found an Intersport at the Fleckalmbahn base station. Is this the main lift?

Also, does anyone have any good tips for skiing in Kirchberg? We will be there around the same time as the Today FM ski trip so it's going to be very busy.

    Thanks!

Thats the main lift and they are offering 10 % discount on line and if your kids are under 10 then if 2 adults rent the kids are free. They have heated lockers that dry all your gear.

When are you heading out as we are going to kitzbuhel

If you have booked private accommodation in the off season you should be able to get the snow fun package which will give you a ski pass with the accommodation and 20% of lessons and ski hire.

FYI - this place is 4km up the valley

Not even within the town signs
It is beside a lift however. Turns out Kirchberg's lifts are very spread out. Taking a bus almost unavoidable. FYI beginners slope in Aschau where you don't need a lift pass. Its not big - maybe Kilternan x1.5 - but enough to practice technique on if its your first day in a while

[/I need to book for 10 or 11 ladsQUOTE] with those kind of numbers booking as a group any decent rental shop will give you 20 -25% straight off if you just contact them directly and you could push that % up pay paying in advance.

For lift passes, unless the hotel is offering them free of there are BOGOF offers or they come as part of a package, discounts are highly unlikely.

As for insurance Multi-trip.ie have really good ski cover as part of their travel insurance.
