Hi folks I'm wondering if you can help me.

I have a Hannspree SJ32DMBB, currently recieving the Saorvier and Standard Freeview channels fine,

However I'd like to try to tune in some of the other extra Freeview channels

Simply put, does anyone know how you can set up a new digital channel on it (i.e. enter your freqs and away ye go?)

    Many thanks

Depends where you are in the country as to whether you can receive the other Freeview channels or not.
If you are getting it from the North you might need a new aerial or change the polarity if you want to receive it from Divis if you are now getting it from Kilkeel.Otherwise just do a full retune and the TV will find them for you.

What do you mean by the "standard" Freeview channels? There are around 100+ Freeview channels and there are no "extra" Freeview channels.

I presume that he meant the HD channels.

What part of the country are you in? (Sraid an Droichaid could be various places.)

Your aerial is more than likely a single vertically polarised array, for reception from Clermont Carn (Saorview) & Kilkeel (Freeview).

As mentioned above, if you want the full Freeview service, you will need to be able to receive from the Divis (Belfast) transmitter.

Haven't seen much posted here from nth. Dublin, since the 'excitement' of the switchover, back in October.
