    Hi,
Can anyone on here please tell me where I can buy the irish variants of f4 and f6?
I have looked at the book depository and BPP website but can only see the UK version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest I dont think BPP make ones for the IRL variant. I dont know if you can get them without doing a course with a lecturer who will supply you with one they create themselves. And if you are going to try pick up second hand ones keep in mind that F6 changes every year so the June sitting so secondhand only work for a December sitting.

    Thanks for the reply air101.

Bpp do an irish variant alright. O Mahonnys book shop have them to preorder online at the minute but they are priced at €76!!!

I intend on buying an up to date f6 manual as i am aware that this is updated every year. I have managed to find a 2011 edition of the f4 manual which I am hoping would do me.Anyone know if the syllabus has changed much in the last year or two?

    Re Syllabus changes:

The English Variant had some changes for 2012, I don't know if they might have also been changed for IRL? You would need to do more research to find out unless anyone else can help...

F4 manual is unlikely to have changed much. There's no need to buy the exam kit, just use the past exams and solutions from the ACCA website.

F6 main changes from year to year are the applicable bands and rates, ACCA exams a year prior, so the 2012 tax code for 2013. Their is a detailed syllabus on the ACCA side, so theoretically between an older manual, the revenue site and the past questions you should have everything you need.

BPP have published Irish variants in the past, they came out in mid-late Feb. But given they've closed their Ladd Lane premises and stopped offering classes here it's possible that they might not do them any more.

Thanks Sbwife. I guess i'll just have to wait another few weeks and see what happens as regards f6 manuals.
I am considering doing a third exam along with f4 and f6. Are any of the other f's complementry to these subjects?

I might look stupid here, but I want to do the F4 on my own and don't know exactly which book to buy.

Would the one below be suitable for Dec 13 exam?

    Thanks a mil!!!!

Yes, that's what I used for F4. F4 IRE doesn't change very often so an older edition if you can get it secondhand would work either.
