they a gaining weight but i think you need them a bit heavier to kill , but if they are fat i would kill them

I assume these are the weights on 20 October?

How fleshy are they now?

How much are they eating and what is the cost/day. I presume you are weighing them in that you know how much they are gaining. How long are they on that diet. What is the makeup of the diet.

Housed 20 th oct but suffered a virus before this date
Weights are at jan 2nd 2013
Meal is always in front of them I'd say bout 7-8 kg / head/ day with straw / silage

Not to fleshy at the moment

Average 580kgs eating 8kgs ration so consuming about 4kgs silage DM maybe a bit more if gaining 1.5kgs/day they are converting at 8-1. That is about the rate for Contenintal Heifers that are coming up on 2Y olds
