Dental Payment Plans

    Hi All

I have quite a bit of work to be done - at least 1 crown (possibly 2) and 3 extractions. The quotes I have been given for these are seriously high and as it is i've put off the work for long enough due to the cost.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any (good) dentist that will allow you to set up a payment plan with them?
I've seen a few websites advertising 0% finance, but any recommendations are appreciated.

    Thanks
    N

Numpty, you may not find too many dentists willing to do payment plans as if you are getting extractions and 1 crown, the time involved from first visit to last visit could be as little as a month (maybe even shorter).

Generally installment plans are for longer term treatments, implants, braces etc.

Credit union/family members could they help?

Unfortunately i'm not in a position to get a credit union loan or get help from family.

The treatment most likely is going to take about 3/4 visits, apparently. I would prefer to spread these visits out if it meant spreading the payments.

I have managed to save up about half of the cost but I just would rather get the treatment than wait another 6 months with an embarassing smile to save up the other half.
    Oh well!

Some dentist do payment plans, however if you cant expect a credit union to loan you money then you are unlikely to get a dentist to do the same. Dentists usually offer payment plan over the course of treatment however I dont know of any that do the work now and allow you to pay later, that the realm of a bank.
