Are they mental or what? I'm still trying to get over the chocolate induced coma this Xmas.
Went to Tesco this morning for my lunch and my jaw almost dropped, Easter chocolates are already on the shelves. Not just a few cream eggs, a wall full of stuff. Right next to the Weight Watchers stuff on special for that New Year - New You resolution which sure enough will crumble as the mind wanders from low fat tinned soup to cream eggs. :P

When is Easter this year? 3, 4 months away?

Ah jaysus, it was better in the old days. Easter eggs only came onto the shelves at 12pm on the Easter Saurday.

Wait, why the hell does it matter when the Easter eggs are on the shelf?

    Those are New Years eggs...
For people who's new year resolution is to eat more chocolate eggs.

because I find it quite depressing to be thinking of an event that will happen in 3 months time when the christmas holidays are not even finished. I know no one forces me to buy eggs now. But it's like seeing sun cream in the shop in early January, then school things in June and Christmas decoration in August.

Plus if you buy the chocolate now it will likely get a white coat by the time you eat it.

There's no novelty any more, I always looked forward to creme egg season and would go nuts for the few weeks they were available. Got my hands on a box of Heroes this xmas, first time in years, and they now have creme egg chococlates in the tin  Feckers ruining easter before xmas is even over.

The world's gone mad Ted, we need the government to step and impose a block on Easter eggs until the 2nd week in March. They'll save us from ourselves.

Thats assuming if you buy it now - you're actually going to have the will power to not eat it!

Tesco is quite simply to be avoided if the op is true. Between this and tesco internships.

    leave the tree up:

Valentines: cover it in hearts and chocolates with her presents underneath,
Patricks day: its green already so add orange and white decorations
    Easter: hang eggs on it!
Summer: put giant sunglasses on it,then wrap a huge beach towel around it.
Autumn: stick brown and yellow leaves on it
Halloween: cover it in cobwebs and hang spiders on it
    Christmas: im out of ideas....

They're a bit late in Ireland. Tesco UK had them in 2012

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
