Disconnecting my Sky Box

Bought a new TV and have to disconnect my skybox at the back of the box to remove it from its current stand. Will I lose all my recorded shows? Will I have to get Sky to re-calibrate it once I have it reconnected? Anyone ever done this before? will it lead me to any hassle?

No,just plug it back in and away you go.The recordings are stored on a hard drive just like on a computer so plugging it out won't do any harm.

No. Everything recorded will be grand. Just make sure and unplug the box before you disconnect the wires.

Thanks guys so all should be fine and once I plug the satellite cable back into the sky box and reconnect it the stations should appear as normal. Sounds perfect!
