Ok hope I have this in the right forum.

We have three of these boxes in the house. 2 downstairs, one in an upstairs bedroom. Was working perfectly christmas eve, switched it on christmas morning and its just a blue screen and a "no signal" box. Tried to rescan and no joy at all. Is it a problem with the box or should I get someone in to have a look at it? The 2 downstairs tv's are perfect.

    The model is T1020.

    Thanks :)

Did you check the aerial connections and cable. If you swap it with one of the working ones you will know if its a problem with the signal or not.

Ok so swapped the boxes and its working fine downstairs. Still having the same problem upstairs. Checked all connections and all seem to be perfect. I there anything else I can try? Would love to fix it myself as we've had alot of problems with the switch over and have had to call the same guy out 3 times!

How is the signal split to upstairs, splitter or distribution amp or different aerial?

Asked my dad, he thinks its split. How would I find out for sure?

Trace back the cable that is going to the upstairs box .If it is split you will come to a small y type connection of some sort.

Are the connections tight where the cable is split? Is there any signal booster anywhere between the tv and the aerial?

Is it split before it gets to the downstairs TV or after?

Its split upstairs in my parents room, then it feeds on into my room. Unfortunately the split is behind the wardrobe in my parents room. Hopefully its something as simple as it becoming disconnected but I won't be able to check it til tomorrow as my dad will have to pull the wardrobe out :(

Did he suggest re-doing the whole distribution system?
