What do you make of this guy? Was he a respected scientist or chancer? In one of his films (Silent world) he dynamites the sea to get a dead fish sample, then they hook sharks onto the boat and club to death, and then they arrive on an island and sit on giant turtles. Surely these practices don't belong in zoology or any…
