    Hi I'm just wondering where to go rainbow trout in fisherys I can't decide where to go I live in Galway so I don't want to be going 100 miles away . Somewhere close like Meath somewhere around there

    These 2 would probably be your nearest. There's another place in Cortoom, near Tuam but its closed at the moment.

    do tell.....headed to galway during the week, im just a casual fisher know feck all about it but love getting something on the line. so a place with a load of eager fish would be great......

    It`s a very small fishery called (look it up on google)ougterard holiday Hostal ANd fishing centre .It`s very good i think theres a few few 20 pounders too!
