Commuter tyres?

Need some recommendations for a new pair of tyres for the commuter....

Always used continental tyres, raced on GP4000S, and used GP 4 seasons on the commuter for the first 1000kms, but swapped these onto the road bike when I put the commuter away for the holidays as the GP4000S were past their best. Need to get new tyres for the commuter before Monday. Liked the GP 4 seasons, but don't really want to shell out the price of another pair, so is there anything else I should consider?

Doing ~200km a week in all weather.

I have these on my commuter bike and never had any problems with them. They may not be within your budget however.

Schwalbe Durano. Puncture resistant (never got one) and low rolling resistance - perfect combination. I find the marathons too harsh

Actually, thanks to a post in the bargain alerts thread, I've managed to get a pair of GP 4 seasons for €58 including delivery, that's that sorted :)

Contemplating picking up these to replace Gatorskins. I've been using gatorskins year round, including the odd race. How to the 4 seasons compare, do you know? (in terms of longevity, rolling resistance)

Haven't ever had gatorskins so can't really comment. Can only compare to GP4000S....GP4seasons are definitely a bit draggier but super grippy in all conditions!

Are the marathons really that harsh and is the rolling resistance bad on them, read somewhere that some lads average speed decreased by 4 or 5 km when he fitted them. Currently using contential contact sports on a mountain bike, have used them for 1200km so far but I'm getting paranoid about punctures so looking for something bullet proof for the commute.
