It really was the year when the locos came to the Howth branch.

2012 saw the first 201 to ever run on the branch with 228 on driver route knowledge training for the following rail tour that was worked by 217.

076 tested out new signaling equipment on the Easter bank hol weekend.

There was 084 on driver route knowledge training for the upcoming Sperry train. I don't know which 071 work the train, possibly 079 or 083 at a guess.
