    Scrap it :D

Id say a sensor has stopped working...is the ABS still functional? Is there a red ABS light to??

Worse case the unit it self is gone but depends on make and model

Did you have any additional work done during the service, specifically around the wheels / brakes?
Has this happened straight after the service or ?

ABS wont work, but wont affect normal braking.

I wouldn't let anyone in advance pitstop near a fisher price toy car. Seriously advance pitstop prob only changed your oil and filter for the service. There is no one on this site can advise you of the price it will cost with our looking. It could be a wheel bearing or a abs sensor it could also be the abs pump or the traction control unit. With out seen the car myself it's very hard to gauge. Min spend will prob be around120e max could be anywhere in around the 500e mark

Can you run diagnostics on it?

Chevrolet's are appalling for poor quality components! Of course it is a Daewoo in disguise if we be honest, with a washing machine for an engine.

The ABS sensor is more than likely goosed. Once that ABS light comes on, the ABS breaks go off, even though it's just the sensor. If you take a look at some of the UK threads you will see them full of people with problems with instrumentation errors on these cars, and also the ABS sensors, camshaft sensors and EGR valve, or what should be an idle control valve.

My advice would be to jack the car up, off with the wheels and clean the sensor, or if the break pads are due soon, do it at the same time. You can get all you need in Halfords. It is most likely the drivers side at the front, but clean all.

It should reset after a few cycles. If it doesn't, you need new sensors, or possibly go to an auto electrician as the electrics in these cars are appalling. The ECU in these cars will give you a pain in your head!

You can drive without it, and ignore it. But ultimately, it is not advisable. You want the ABS to work.

Sorry but the way you spell Brakes tells me that you don't know enough about vehicle repair to be giving advice, especially so as this forum is regularly frequented by professional mechanics who will no doubt point the op in the right direction.

    1. Tyre pressures
    2. Brake fluid level
    3. Get it diagnosed / scanned.
    4. Reply here with update.
