    Ok firstly please excuse my ignorance when it comes to terminology!
    I am looking for a camera - I would like a canon. A digital camera with both view finder and screen with a lens that you twist to zoom - is this what you call a dslr? So I am looking for a recommendation. Would be for everyday/holiday photography - scenery, people etc. Want excellent picture quality and different effects and tools if possible e.g. black and white, panorama, video. Want one decent lens with a good zoom - is this usually detachable. Probably wouldn't use a second lens - although is it possible to get different lenses maybe later? Would prob spend up to €600.
    Also is there a good sale on for recommendation anyone might have? Or is onlibe cheapest.

    Argos has canon eos 600D for €614. Would that be good?
