    Any views on this?
I've a small holding in this for a while, bit of a punt if I'm honest just based on reading about it in the papers.
Nice move in it today, back above the 200-day MA.

Nice rise today all right on modest volumes. Some positive press in the daily mail on sat & one of the share tips in the times yesterday. Small holding also. Here's hoping for good news in q1 for the sake of Ireland inc. at the very least

will fracking reduce the price of oil and render the oil field less viable?

Not sure tbh. I thought fracking was only related to gas.

Might be of interest - indo today. Fracking has been a game changer for the US. Fracking in Europe will I imagine be challenged fiercely for many years.

Providence gives up on Dalkey foreshore
    http://www.fxcentre.com/news.asp?3033890
This comes after An Taisce alleged in a lawsuit that the Government acted unlawfully in how it granted a foreshore licence to an oil and natural gas exploration firm for the Dalkey Island prospect in Dublin Bay.

In High Court proceedings late last year, An Taisce claimed the Government wrongly concluded an environmental impact assessment (EIA) was not required to be carried out prior to awarding the licence to Irish-listed company Providence.

    Seems odd.
