L - Shaped Garage Ideas

    We are looking to build a garage in 2013

    THe garage idea is to be L-Shaped, to allow us to drive in cars only at one side.

    The other side will be used for multipurposes; Storage, workbench, small bathroom & sink with an upstairs area divided to office / play area.

    We would plan on putting the stairs inside the garage not on the outside wall.

    I have these sort of ideas in my head but I would love to see some finished plans or pictures to get me started

    Would anyone have any recommendations or where I could go to get some ideas first down on paper to show.

    Would really appreciate some ideas, Thanks

    You would have to 'wall off' the stairs to an independent exit if you were planning on putting an office/play area up stairs. The ceiling of the garage area would need to be fireproofed as well.

    Not all LA's are happy to consider garages having two floors.
