Make more of my Sony Bravia

    Hi all
I bought a 32" one of the above and a wireless dongle back in Sept and it's grand. I also have a reconditioned sky box for freeview of bbcs etc but no sub. I know I'm not maxing use of it.

Watching internet TV would be great but the stations included on the bravia are only a bit of TV3 and that and half the programs aren't on it. I'd love to make more of this. Any tips? I do have a HDMI lead for my laptop but eventhough it's a couple of meters it's not long enough and you end up and down. Seems a lot of faffing and then we just end up watching the laptop, which kinda defeats the purpose.

Also have no way to record. My old VHS recorder doesn't seem to work with the new set up. I have a HDD (from aldi) attached for watching photos or exercise DVDs I have but it won't let me record either RTE or on my freeview UK channels. Says there's no compatible HDD attached.

Also am I missing any other wonders? Feel like I'm in the dark ages! lol
