    Hi all!

Was in the process of draining our washing machine, and when i went to turn the knob on the cold water supply at the wall, it broke off.

Now im not sure if the water supply is on or off.

I tried to screw the pipe off slightly, and the water was spraying out, but don't know if it is the excess water in the pipe.

    I have attached a picture!

    Thanks.

Looking at your picture of the valve it appears to be still open.
If you have a pliers, catch a hold of the flat sides of the spindle in the centre of the valve and turn it a quarter turn until the flat side of the spindle is this way (|) to the pipe being this way (===)
