Hi, this might be a stupid question, but i bought a rail/bus card for january month. How do i validate these in the train station? Inserting it in to the reader, or just showing it to the reader (as the Leap card)? And in the bus, do i use the old validator where the card is inserted, or does the new reader read this card aswell?

If it's a paper card, you put it into the ticket machine slot. If it's plastic you scan it at the validator.

The dublin bus card though is paper and is scanned at the validator on the bus not inserted into the machine.
