The port you need to forward may not be port 80.... It will depend on the software you are using... You need to find what ports meye needs open...
Rule of thumb is to get it working on your local network first before trying to access it remotely.... Use a port checker tool to see if u have d ports open...
Also you may need to drop your firewall down to low as this is often a problem also...
    Hope this helps

Diggerdunne is correct, test it on your network first.

Does your broadband have a static ip ? If not you will need to sign up for a free dynamic dns account.
I haven't used these guys but they are free http://www.no-ip.com/

You will need to forward another port to it also, its normally port 80 plus another port that is specified by the dvr.

As Diggerdunne also said the software that came with the cctv should tell you this from the dvr. You will also need to set up the dynamic dns account in the dvr itself most likely.

You should then be able to use the myeye software on your iphone.

    Thanks for the posts ;)

Anyway i didnt post a lot of info, on the dvr when you go to the network settings it says TCP port 34567 and UDP port 37778. Then it says HTTP port 80, what is that? Do i have to forward that aswell? in TCP And UDP? So i filled in the ip, subnet mask and gateway. So now i just forward those ports and it's done?

Thank you very much for you help :)

Yep, forward those ports as well as port 80 and that should be it. Don't forget the bit about the dynamic dns if needed.

UPC should be easy enough, just get your UPC router to forward those ports. Look online if you don't have the password; its probably whatever the default is set to.

My folks have a meteor dongle, which makes the process almost impossible :(
