Pottery in combo boiler won't increase pressure

I recently got my ensure redone and have had problems with the rads since then. Mostly some rads wouldn't hear up. I bled them all and tried shutting all off but the ones that weren't working.
Anyway today the heating wouldn't come on. I added water to the system and bled rads again but the pressure gauge won't budge from about 0.5 bar

Is there anything else I can do to increase this?

    ANY help appreciated

What is pottery in combo boiler , your post is hard to read , is your boiler working at all now , if its a combi is is working when a hot tap is opened .

Sorry should read "potterton" boiler as a brand name. It's working now and most of the rads are hot now but still only at 0.5 bar but one or two rads are still Luke warm and when i bless them water comes out so it's not air trapped I assume?

    Thanks for the reply

Is your system filled off mains via a filling loop or is it gravity fed , if gravity fed you mightn't get much more than 0.5 bar , monitor the pressure reading when cold as this is the true reading , I'd say the problem with the two lukewarm rads is a balancing issue or if on drops for downstairs rads it could be an airlock on the return pipework if system was drained for works mentioned , obviously check that rad valves are open and that trvs (if fitted ) are not stuck closed , check that the pin is moving freely , another issue it could be is sludged up rads .

There is a myson fill valve in the hot press that I opened to refill the system. Didn't seem to make much difference to the pressure bar. When heating is off the pressure bar is at about 0.25!

No trv's I'm afraid. Previous house owners fecked up some of the rads and I can't blead them as the blead valve is broken in half! Managed to bless all bar one rad in the main bathroom upstairs

Should the pressure bar be more than what I mentioned above?

Take a pic of the myson valve you opened , and all the valves in your hotpress , what rads are not heating .

Sorry for delay. Here is that photo. Same problem. Heating is on. Rads are cold. Boiler making noise as if its working. Pressure at 0.5 when on and at zero when its off

If you had a plumber doing your work, why not get him back to sort the problems he created
