Induction hob problem

My sister has a Samsung induction hob and one of the elements?? (not sure of the name) is not working correctly. Basically it glows red then just shuts down without heating the pot even when switched to its highest setting.
Is there a way to repair it?

It could be the regulator or the hob plate its self

You could try one of the other regulator if they are the same.

It is not induction if it glows red. It is most likely ceramic hob. The problem is most likely one of the temp probes or regulators.

Shouldn't be too difficult. Will need to remove the hob and take off the glass cover. As someone suggested earlier, it may be possible to swap a couple of thermocouples or regulators to check what the problem is.
