    Hi there,

I saw that Emirates I having an open day in Dublin soon for cabin crew. Does anyone know any members of Emirates cabin crew that are based in Dublin or what their work schedule is like?

The last time I tried to apply for Emirates, the only positions that were available were based in Dubai and I seemed to be under the impression that all of their positions are as with Etihad.

Basically I would just like to know if they are running an open day in Dublin does that mean that successful candidates would be based in Dublin and is it like 3 days on 4 days off etc or how does it work.

    Thanks.

Chances are very high that all positions will be based in Dubai as that's their home base for all flights.

You'd be based in Dubai living in Emirates accommodation which is paid for you.

Thanks, does your friend know what the typical work schedule is...I have no idea, is there a general work pattern or legislation in place specifically for cabin crew or each to their own?

Someone told me before that the typical cabin crew pattern is 3 on, 4 off but that sounds too good to be true.

    This link is pretty helpful:

8 days off a month, I'm assuming it would be 2 days off per week.
