Replacment interior LEDs

    Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone can turn me on to where I'd find replacement LEDs for behind the A/C controls on my Mazda 3. An internet search seems to indicate that I need "Neo Wedge - Type b (T4)" bulbs, however, the only place I found them is based in the US, so wanted to charge €30 shipping for the sake of €8 worth of LEDs, so I'm wondering if anyone knows somewhere in Ireland (either bricks and mortar or online) that does this sort of thing?

    Thanks!

Now my experience on this is limited, but I did this same job on my old fto. Problem was that LEDs don't disperse light the same as bulbs, ended up with dark and bright patches

Thanks for the reply, reading further into the matter it looks like a pain to do, soldering tiny leds onto circuit boards and whatnot. I think I might just ask how much it will cost to do when im in for a service next and go from there.

Are there actually LEDs in there now?

As far as I can see, yes. I'm on the phone now, so cant find the link, but I think there's LED illumination on the bottom row (where I'm concerned) and incandescent bulbs on the row above it, which backlights some radio controls. The LEDs I've seen suggested are 10mm across. Seeing that put my plans to rest. I mean, ive tinkered with soldering electronics on guitars, but my hand's no way steady enough for something that small.

Edit: Found the link. Yeah as you'll see, it's pretty involved. Think I'll bow out of this one
